First we have “sex addiction” clinics catering to the rich and famous as they try to weasel their way out of their infidelities. Now we have a Pharmaceutical company taking the blame for sex and gambling addictions.
People in New Zealand who are taking medication for Parkinson’s disease are reporting similar side effects as a group of patients in Australia. A case has been started against Pfizer Australia and Aspen Pharmacare Australia following claims that the drugs supplied by them caused sex and gambling addictions in the patients taking these medicines.
It seems the medications cause people to develop impulse control disorders like overeating, impulsive sexual behavior and problem gambling.
