Fetish Objects Of Desire

August 18th, 2007 by SexyGal

The objects of desire for some people surprise many as researchers from Italy’s University of Bologna concluded that feet (and shoes) were the world’s most popular objects of desire, followed at a distance by underwear and “body fluids.”

Neither genitals nor breasts nor legs nor buttocks were selected by more than 4 percent of those surveyed, and two people indicated a thing for pacemakers (but it was not disclosed whether the two had yet found each other). [The Independent (London)

Who would have thought that the [tag]fetish[tag] for body fluids would be more popular than breasts?

Jealousy Rears It’s Ugly Head In Open Marriages

August 17th, 2007 by SexyGal

The biggest challenge polyamorous couples seem to face is [tag]jealousy#.

Open marriage differs from polygamy in that it is legal, except in those states with extremely rigid anti-adultery laws. Unlike polygamy, in an open marriage both spouses agree to allow each other to have extramarital affairs and relationships can extend to people outside of a formally bound group.

In the open marriages of the 1970s, couples would often set rigid rules about whom they would allow to engage in sex with their partners.

Couples would meet in sex clubs or private parties and swap partners. These relationships were almost always purely sexual, and temporary lovers were rarely introduced to spouses.

Contemporary practitioners of polyamory have changed the rules, and in many cases thrown them out all together, said Dossie Easton.

According to Easton, polyamory is as much a reflection of changes in ’70s-style open marriages as it is a reflection of broad changes in attitudes about casual sex. “There has been a real change in attitudes,” Easton said. “We used to make a huge notion that if you picked up someone at a singles bar and didn’t want to marry them in the morning you shambled out of their house.”

“Nowaday, we have all kinds of open sexual connections with people that we call friends that we are not auditioning for marriage.”jealous.jpg

What’s A Swinging Wife Worth?

August 17th, 2007 by SexyGal

Northbrook, Ill., husband Arthur Friedman persuaded his wife that after 10 years’ marriage, they should become a swinging couple, which he thought would enhance their relationship. His wife, reluctant at first, began to participate and eventually fell in love with another swinging husband, an event that precipitated the Friedmans’ breakup, reported the Chicago Sun-Times.

Friedman, with an inadequate appreciation of irony, sued the husband under Illinois‘ alienation-of-affection law, and in June, a jury actually found in his favor, for $4,802.87. However, the soon-to-be-divorced Mrs. Friedman said she felt humiliated by the implication that she had been “worth” just $480 a year. [Chicago Sun-Times, 7-1-07]

City Hall 0 - Denver Club 1 Denver Is Ready To Swing

August 17th, 2007 by SexyGal

First, the Denver nightclub owners fought their neighbors. Then they fought the city. Finally, they fought the city once again. With each battle, the owners of the Sugar House lounge pulled out tough, unexpected victories on their way to opening a nightclub that will cater to swingers, or “open-minded couples,” one night a week.

Wednesday morning, they achieved what is likely their final victory: They were given a liquor license after months of wrangling with city officials. The owners now are moving quickly to try to open as early as next week, almost 12 weeks after they had originally hoped to. Ewing and his business partner, Lynne Thomas, have fought so many battles since June 2006, when they bought the building at 1395 W. Alameda Ave., that they’ve come up with a new tag line for Sugar House: “The most controversial nightclub in Denver.”

The delays, he said, have cost the club almost $150,000 in revenue.

Swingers Club Entrepreneur Appeals Murder Conviction

August 11th, 2007 by SexyGal

A Warrington attorney jailed in a 2004 murder-for-hire case that centered on a plot to open a swinger’s club and Doylestown brothel is seeking a new trial.

Joseph Guarrasi, 41, who pleaded no-contest to attempted murder, now says he was framed. He wants to withdraw his plea and let a jury decide his fate.

Guarrasi was sentenced to 6½ to 15 years in a state prison for his part in the scheme, which first came to light when the hit man contacted police, complaining Guarrasi had cheated him in a real estate deal.

The angry Doylestown resident said the attorney hired him to convert a house a few blocks away from the Bucks County courthouse into a brothel. Police were skeptical, until they visited the North Street home and found it had been partially gutted to fit 10 small bedrooms.

The informant then told police Guarrasi had hired him to kill a Montgomery County landowner because the man had reneged on a deal to sell his sprawling farm to the attorney so he could turn it into a profitable sex club.

During the investigation that followed, police learned Guarrasi was a member of a Philadelphia voyeur’s club. They recorded conversations between Guarrasi and the hit man, in which the lawyer was heard handing over a $2,000 down payment on the hit.
