internet users are single and an
estimated 45 million of them will
visit an online dating site this
month.
There is no “typical”
single using the online dating sites.
While most singles are between the ages of 20- and 45-years-old, one of
the fastest growing segments is that of the baby boomers.
The singles visiting
the online dating sites are professionals and non-professionals alike, and have a wide
range of interests and tastes. Many of these singles are highly educated
and fall into the upper levels of average household income.
